A storage battery with emf \(\mathscr{E}=2.6 \mathrm{~V}\) loaded with an external resistance produces a current \(I=1.0\) A. In this case the potential difference between the terminals of the storage battery equals \(V=2.0 \mathrm{~V}\). Find the thermal power generated in the battery and the power developed in it by electric forces.
